Wrap up warm, grab your wellies and explore the estate at RHS Garden Hyde Hall. Led by knowledgeable RHS volunteers, you’ll learn a little of the history of Hyde Hall and take in all the sights and sounds of the Winter woodland. Afterwards, why not warm up with a soup and a scone in the Barn Restaurant for just £4.

Woodland Walks take place every Tuesday at 11am until the 27th February, weather permitting.

Normal garden admission applies, members go free.

 

Mr Fothergill’s is proud to have entered into a new partnership with The RHS to bring out a range of flower seeds and vegetable seeds for home gardeners.  The extensive flower seed range creates beautiful garden displays with excellent performance. Exhibition at RHS Lindley: Collecting in the Clouds

Go along to the RHS Lindley Library to find out about early 20th Century Plant Discoveries, and discover the story of four key plant collectors who were exploring the eastern-most edge of the Himalayas 100 years ago.

George Forrest, Reginald Farrer, William Purdom Collecting-in-the-Clouds-exhibition-RHS-Lindleyand Frank Kingdon-Ward faced delight and danger in equal measure during their expeditions into uncharted terrain.
This exhibition, presenting publications and photographs from their trips and herbarium specimens from RHS Garden Wisley, will explore the significance of their work and the lasting impact of their contributions to our gardens.

Collecting in the Clouds is open Mondays to Fridays from 10am-5pm.

Go and see the “Sally Baldwin – Summer Gardens Exhibition” at RHS Rosemoor until the end of January

Sally-Baldwin-RHS-Garden-exhibitionGo along to this exhibition of multimedia collages by Sally Baldwin at the RHS Garden Rosemoor.

Sally takes most of her inspiration from the South West countryside and coastal areas. Using materials such as hand coloured papers and silk, and using techniques including collage, stitch and marking making, Sally is able to create truly beautiful works of art.

The Summer Gardens exhibition closes on the 28th of January and is open from 10am-5pm.
